This Notice is incorporated into and is subject to the Navigara.com Terms of Service.
01 Definitions
Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Notice have the meaning given to them in the Navigara.com Terms of Service.
- Personal Data— any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
- Public Area— the area of the Website that can be accessed by both Users and Visitors without needing to log in.
- Restricted Area— the area of the Website that can be accessed only by Users and where access requires logging in.
- Service— the Navigara.com Services as defined in the Terms of Service.
- Visitor— an individual other than a User who uses the Public Area but has no access to the Restricted Area.

This section outlines Navigara.com’s roles and responsibilities concerning the processing of Personal Data.
2.1 Navigara.com as a Data Controller
This Privacy Notice describes Navigara.com’s practices when we act as a data controller. As a data controller, we determine the purposes and means of processing your Personal Data. This includes data collected directly from you, such as when you sign up for an Account, register for events, or interact with our Service. It also covers data collected automatically, such as through cookies and tracking technologies, and data we receive from third parties. 2.2 Data Subject’s and Client’s Responsibilities
If you are a data subject seeking to exercise your rights (such as access, rectification, deletion, etc.) regarding Personal Data processed by a Navigara.com Client, please contact the Client directly. The Client, as the data controller, is responsible for handling such requests according to applicable data protection laws. Navigara.com processes Client Data solely on behalf of our Clients and according to their instructions. We are largely unaware of the specific data stored by Clients and do not directly access such data except as authorized by the Client or as necessary to provide our Service.

03 The Information We Collect
We collect different types of information from or through the Service, including (but not limited to) the methods summarized below.
3.1 Information You Provide Directly to Navigara.com
- Account signup. When you sign up for an Account, we ask for information like your name, contact number, business email address, company name and country. You may also provide your photo, time zone, and language, but those are optional.
- Registrations and other form submissions. We record information you submit when you (i) register for any event, including webinars or seminars, (ii) subscribe to our newsletter or any other mailing list, (iii) submit a form to download any product, whitepaper or other materials, (iv) participate in contests or respond to surveys, or (v) submit a form to request customer support or to contact Navigara.com for any other purpose.
- Payment processing.When you buy something from us, we ask for your name, contact information, and credit card or other payment account information. We store the cardholder name and address, the expiration date, and the last four digits — never the full card number. With your approval, we may store payment information in encrypted form on the secured servers of our Payment Gateway Service Providers.
- Testimonials. When you authorize us to post testimonials about our Service, we may include your name and other Personal Data. You will review and approve the testimonial before we post it. To update or delete your testimonial, contact privacy@navigara.com.
- Interactions with Navigara.com.We may record, analyze, and use your interactions with us — including email, telephone, and chat conversations with our sales and customer support teams — to improve future interactions.
3.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Browsers, devices, and servers.We collect what web browsers, mobile devices, and servers make available — IP address, browser type, language preference, time zone, referring URL, date and time of access, OS, mobile device manufacturer, and mobile network information.
- Cookies and tracking technologies. We use temporary and permanent cookies to identify Visitors and Users and enhance experience. We embed unique identifiers in our downloadable products to track usage. We also use beacons, tags, scripts, and similar technologies for navigation, analytics, and engagement.
- Application logs and product analytics.We collect information about your and your end-users’ use of the Service — clicks, scrolls, features accessed, access frequency, errors, performance, storage utilized, settings, and devices.
3.3 Information We Collect from Third Parties

- Resellers, partners, and service providers. If you express interest in our Service through a partner, they may share your name, email, company name, and other information with us.
- Third-party integrations.You may connect integrations to your Navigara.com Account. Permissions you grant give those third parties access to your data. We are not responsible for their practices — review their permissions carefully.
- Social media and publicly available sources. When you engage with us on review sites or social platforms (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram), we may collect publicly available information, including profile information.
04 How We Use the Information
4.1 Operations
- Set up and maintain your Account and provide all features of the Service, including hosting, backup, and restore.
- Provide customer support and improve interactions with Clients and Users.
- Detect and prevent fraud and other illegal activity, report spam, and protect the rights and interests of Navigara.com, its Clients, and Users.
4.2 Improvements
- Understand how Users use our Service, monitor and prevent problems, and improve the Service.
- Analyze trends, administer the Website, and track navigation to better serve Visitors.
If improvement requires processing Client Data, we use it only in anonymized or aggregated form.
4.3 Communications
- Communicate about products and materials you’ve downloaded, services you’ve signed up for, and changes to this Notice or our Terms.
- Keep you posted on new additions, upcoming events, offers, and promotions.
- Ask you to participate in surveys or solicit feedback.
4.4 Analytics
- Update, expand, and analyze our records, identify new customers, and surface products that may interest you.
- Monitor and improve marketing campaigns — including retargeting, lookalike modeling, and suppressing irrelevant ads to existing Clients.
4.5 Legal Bases (EEA, UK, and Other Relevant Jurisdictions)
If you are an individual in the EEA or another relevant jurisdiction, we collect and process information about you only where we have a legal basis to do so. We collect and use your Personal Data where:
- We need it to operate and provide you with our Service;
- It satisfies a legitimate interest of Navigara.com (which is not overridden by your data protection interests and rights);
- You give us consent for a specific purpose; or
- We need to comply with a legal obligation.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object as described under Your Choices. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
4.6 Additional Limits on Use of Your Google User Data
If you provide Navigara.com access to your Google data (e.g. when you enable email sync with your Google account), Navigara.com’s use of that data is subject to additional restrictions:
- We use access to read, write, modify, or control Gmail message bodies, metadata, headers, and settings only to provide a web email client. We do not transfer this Gmail data to others except as necessary to provide and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- We do not use this Gmail data for serving advertisements.
- We do not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, or doing so is necessary for security, to comply with applicable law, or for internal operations on aggregated and anonymized data.
Navigara.com’s use of information received and any transfer to other apps from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
05 To Whom We Disclose Information
Except as described in this Notice, we will not intentionally disclose Personal Data we collect to third parties without consent. We may disclose information under the following circumstances.
5.1 Unrestricted Information
Anything you voluntarily include in a Public Area of the Service — community forums, blogs, public profile — will be available to anyone with access. Your posts and certain profile information may remain even after you terminate your Account.
5.2 Other Users in Your Company Account
Information about your use of the Service is available to the Administrator(s) of your Account and, depending on settings, to other Users for the purpose of providing the Service. Individual Users control the visibility of their synced emails — Administrators cannot alter the contents of another User’s Mail tab.
5.3 Service Providers
We work with third-party service providers for hosting, application development, maintenance, security, and fraud detection. We limit the information shared and our contracts require them to maintain confidentiality.
5.4 Social Media
Our Website may use Social Media Features (Facebook “like,” LinkedIn, X share buttons, etc.). If you are logged in to a social media account, that network may link your visit to your profile. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy notices of the respective companies.
5.5 Advertising and Marketing
We partner with third-party ad networks. They use cookies, web beacons, and data we share to provide targeted advertising. To opt out, visit youronlinechoices.eu. This doesn’t opt you out of all ads — only targeted ones.
5.6 Partners
We may share data with trusted partners to contact you about complementary services, perform statistical analysis, or provide sales/customer support. Partners are prohibited from using your Personal Data outside these purposes.
5.7 Non-Personally Identifiable Information
We may make automatically-collected, aggregated, or otherwise non-identifiable information available to third parties for compliance, business, or marketing purposes.
5.8 Law Enforcement, Legal Process and Compliance
We may disclose Personal Data if required by law, in response to a valid court order or warrant, or to cooperate with law enforcement. We may make such disclosures without notifying you. We also reserve the right to disclose information to protect against fraud, defend legal claims, protect the security of the Service, enforce our contracts, or comply with applicable law.
5.9 Change of Ownership
Information about Users and Visitors, including Personal Data, may be transferred to an acquirer, successor, or assignee as part of any merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
06 Data Security
We have implemented administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, use, modification, disclosure, or destruction of the information you entrust to us. These measures have been audited and certified to industry standards. No security system is perfect — you are responsible for protecting your password(s) and maintaining the security of your devices. If you believe your Personal Data has been compromised, please contact us. If we learn of a breach, we will inform you and the authorities in accordance with applicable law.
07 International Data Transfers
Navigara.com may transfer your Personal Data to countries other than the one in which you live. We ensure compliance with applicable laws in the respective jurisdiction. We offer the following safeguards for transfers from jurisdictions with differing data protection laws:
- Standard Contractual Clauses— approved by the European Commission (and the equivalent UK clauses), used for transfers to countries without an adequacy decision.
- GDPR and Data Privacy Framework (GDPR and DPF)— Navigara.com participates in and complies with the EU-U.S. GDPR and DPF and the UK Extension.
Navigara.com does not process any “sensitive information” (medical or health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, or sexual orientation). The Terms of Service forbid you from processing Sensitive Information in the Service.
08Minors and Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 18. If we learn that Personal Data has been collected from a person under 18 without verifiable parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and discover your child has obtained an Account, alert us at privacy@navigara.com.
09 Data Retention
We retain your Personal Data for a period consistent with the original purpose of collection, or as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer have a legitimate need, we delete or anonymize.
For Client Data processed within the Service:
- Closed Accounts — deleted within 180 days of closure.
- Closed Free Trial Accounts — deleted within 60 days of closure.
- Server archival backups — kept for 90 days.
10 Your Choices
10.1 Your Rights with Respect to Information We Hold About You as a Controller
- Right to access— know which data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification— require corrections to your Personal Data.
- Right to deletion— request deletion of your Personal Data, under certain conditions.
- Right to restriction of processing— request to restrict the use of your Personal Data in certain circumstances.
- Right to data portability— transfer your Personal Data to a third party in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
- Right to object— object to certain uses of your Personal Data, including direct marketing.
- Right to complain— complain to the appropriate supervisory authority.
10.2 Opting Out
- Marketing. You may opt out of sharing your Personal Data with third-party providers for advertising and marketing.
- Cookies.Change your cookie settings via the “Cookies Settings” link at the bottom of our Website.
- Commercial communications.Unsubscribe from newsletters using the “unsubscribe” function in any such message. You will continue to receive essential notices (security, billing, account).

10.3 Information Processed on a Client’s Behalf
Navigara.com has no direct relationship with the Client’s customers or third parties whose Personal Data it may process on behalf of a Client. Direct any such request to the Client or User you deal with directly.
11 Do Not Track Requests
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry standard for responding to these signals, and we do not take action in response to them. You may opt out of interest-based advertising at aboutads.info/consumers and networkadvertising.org. Choices you make may be browser- and device-specific.
12 Changes and Updates to this Notice
Please revisit this page periodically. If we modify the Notice, we will indicate the latest revision date. Your continued use of the Service after the revised Notice has become effective indicates that you have read, understood, and agreed to the current version.
